Stay Tuned...

First Grade students at PS 58 in Brooklyn have just started exploring how to care for our Planet Earth! We have an Earth Day celebration scheduled for Thursday, April 22 after school from 3-5! We would love for you to stop by! Stay tuned for updates about pollution, endangered species, recycling, alternative energy and gardening (to name a few)!

What do you do in your home to help protect the Earth?

hi Miss Marsh,

How did the Earth Day go? Here in London, we did not celebrate in my school.
Yet in our school, we have a small garden, with vegetables and chickens. We had 3 and a new one is born.
It's nice to see that Little Grassroots is still alive, that the grassroots still spread.
I read about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. This is terrible. Can you think of all the animals and the plants that are going to be destroyed?

Here we are still waiting for a real spring. It's still very cold!

Please keep talking with your pupils of the environment. It matters and makes a difference.

Thank you Miss Marsh!
